Born and raised in Israel, and now currently living in Efrat with his Family. Yair has been working at Israel Destination since the start.
Some of his passions include travelling, biking, filming and meeting new people. He spent 4 years living abroad. First in New Zealand as in emissary to the Jewish Agency and then in New Jersey working with the Reform and Orthodox communities. On his return to Israel, Yair channeled his love of Israel and the Jewish people and started working at Israel Destination- bringing people to Israel.
As the world needed to adapt due to Covid, Yair, together with Israel Destination has been bringing Israel to all of you through the screen.
In this photo, you can see Yair at one of his favorite locations in Israel. Ramon Crater is the world’s largest erosion crater or ‘makhtesh’. A landform unique to Israel’s Negev and Egypt’s Sinai deserts’, a makhtesh is a large erosion cirque, created 220 million years ago when oceans covered the area.
As much as Yair loves traveling around the world, there’s truly no place like home
