Shmuel Kopel

I actually practice growing grapes, making wine and educating my children and myself (which is the hardest)

Hello, I am Shmuel Kopel, a simple Jew. miraculously, Tammy agreed to marry me, which led to me being married + 2 little men (aka my children).

It’s been 33 years since I was born (but it seems to me that I’m only 24).
I live in Moshav Yonatan, in the Golan Heights.
Throughout life I somehow always find myself preoccupied with #education and #agriculture at the same time.
I studied my bachelor’s degree in special education, a diploma in therapeutic #gardening and #oenology. Lately I have combined youth and educational work, along with wine making.
The verses in parshat Ki Tetzeh, describe 3 things you must do before endangering your life, so that you know that you’ve done something #meaningful in this #world:

1. Plant a #vineyard
2. #Harvest grapes
3. Build a #house, live in it and marry a #woman.

So I went for it. I planted a vineyard, built a wooden house (looks like a house in #Teaneck, but really it’s in the middle of the Golan).

And today I actually practice growing grapes, making wine and educating my children and myself (which is the hardest).
Feel free to come visit and taste some good quality wine”🍷
