Zoom in on my life and you’ll find that #art & #dance in general and classical #ballet in particular has been part of my life for nearly five decades.
I was born, raised and educated in #Budapest, #Hungary. I’m a product of one of Europe’s most rigorous ballet school’s, the #Hungarian #Dance #Academy. Being a professional #dancer I have toured the #world a lot, but 25 years ago fate has brought me to #Israel.
What started out as an adventure became a conscious choice. Every day I choose to be here. To #live here. To #love here. To #work here and to contribute here.
Tel Aviv is without a doubt one of the best cities in the world and I feel fortunate and proud to call it home. A true metropolis that’s small enough to be familiar, but big enough to stay interesting. The eternal #summer and nonstop #rhythm keep it forever young and exciting, thanks to it’s citizens and super liberal vibe, and apart from this pandemic disaster, the art and #cultural scene is ravishing.
Being one of Israel’s known dance personalities I work all around the country; whether it’s applying dance education as Head of the Dance Department at Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance; or as advisor for the dance season of the Israeli Opera.
Luckily I spend many hours in the studio as well, teaching and hopefully inspiring the next generations of this magical art but cruel profession.
I love to spend the mornings with my amazing daughter at the #beach and to dress up sharp for the #theater at night.
This place can give me that and so much more, so I give back everything I am
