Avi Shlomo

You have different religions and people, such as the Ahmadis in Shkab Kabir, the Baha'is in downtown Haifa, the people in Wadi Nisnas, the Carmelites, the Kibbutz Residents of Beit Oren, the residents of Haifa and of course members of the Druze community in the villages of Isfiya and Dalia

I’m married to Gabriela and father to Ariel, Eyal and Leah.
I founded the Amim Ve’teamim project about 20 years ago.

We chose this project to connect the different people through the food, the personal stories and the music that identify them. The idea was to break down the barriers between religions, specifically in the Carmel region. The reason for that is because it tells the multicultural Israeli story.

We host groups at the families who take part in this project.
The families share their traditions, their fascinating stories, their songs and of course their delicious food
