Trip Cost: $3,400 per student

By registering for the Ramaz Juniors Israel Trip and submitting payment, the participant and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Trip Price & Payment Schedule

The total cost of the trip is $3,400 per student, payable in two installments:

  • First payment: $1,700 — due at registration, by October 27, 2026, 10:00 AM EST
  • Second payment: $1,700 — due December 1, 2026

Participants are responsible for ensuring that both payments are submitted by the applicable deadlines.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The cancellation date will be the date Israel Destination receives the written cancellation notice.

Payments are non-refundable after their respective payment deadlines. Accordingly, the first payment is non-refundable after October 28, 2026, and the second payment is non-refundable after December 1, 2026, subject to the force majeure provisions in Section 5 below.

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against financial losses resulting from changes in plans or cancellation.

3. Security & Flight Cancellations

Participants acknowledge that travel in Israel carries inherent risks, including the risk of terrorism and security incidents.

If a participant cancels due to official notifications or warnings issued by the Israeli government or an authority acting on its behalf for security or safety reasons, Israel Destination will make commercially reasonable efforts to recover any recoverable costs from hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers. Israel Destination does not guarantee that such costs will be recoverable.

If a participant is unable to attend due to a flight cancellation, Israel Destination will likewise make commercially reasonable efforts to recover any recoverable costs from suppliers. Any amounts actually recovered will be refunded to the participant, subject to applicable supplier terms and the provisions of these Terms & Conditions.

The price for the trip includes roundtrip flights between NY and Tel Aviv. Arrangements for those flights are being made with a flight agent who is independent of Israel Destination. Israel Destination is in no way responsible or liable for any actions related to the flights or the agreement with the flight agent.

4. Itinerary Changes

Israel Destination reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodations, activities, transportation, or other services when necessary due to availability, security, weather, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

5. Force Majeure

If circumstances beyond Israel Destination’s reasonable control, including war, terrorism, government restrictions, severe weather, strikes, pandemics, or transportation disruptions, make it illegal or impossible to hold the trip, the agreement may be cancelled without penalty.

In such circumstances, prepaid amounts will be refunded, less any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.

Israel Destination shall not be responsible for losses, delays, expenses, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

6. Participant Responsibility & Travel Insurance

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically able to participate in the trip and for complying with all applicable laws, school policies, safety requirements, and instructions from trip leaders and authorized staff.

Participants and their parents or legal guardians are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, flight disruptions, and other travel-related losses.

Travel Guard offers insurance options that participants may wish to review: https://www.travelguard.com/purchase/pct

The referenced policy may offer a 50% refund for certain cancellations, including some cancellations unrelated to medical circumstances. Coverage, eligibility, benefits, exclusions, and reimbursement amounts depend on the specific policy purchased. Participants and their parents or legal guardians should review the policy documents and confirm coverage directly with Travel Guard before purchasing. Israel Destination does not guarantee any insurance reimbursement.

7. Liability

Israel Destination acts as the organizer of the trip and may use independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, guides, and activity providers.

Israel Destination is not responsible for the acts or omissions of such suppliers, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Israel Destination shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from participation in the trip.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel, unless otherwise required by law.

9. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By registering for the trip and/or making payment, the participant and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
